Koa

Koa was our third pet of the 2003 year (after Baxter & Angie), and came home on December 29th, 2003. We were told he was about 6 months old at the time, so his approximate birthday was July 2003. Being nocturnal he was a great guy to talk to in the early morning when Tara got off of midnight shifts or on weekends when staying up late, however he just always wanted to run in his wheel. Koa lived a very long lifespan for a hedgehog, and passed away at 5 years old on July 14th, 2008.
